ADITECH's distinctive Flip Chip on Glass technology allows the creation of LCD modules that come with integrated driver electronics and bus system. That's why there is neither a need for extra wiring in the display line nor for a controller.
Hybrid technology
ADITECH is one of the first companies that has combined the advantages of LCD technology with those of LED technology.
Advantages of highly efficient LED backlighting include:
• flatter
• lighter
• min. 20% less energy usage at the same levels of brightness
• No servicing required and, therefore, minimal maintenance cost
• Long life, similar to LCD technology
• No problems with cold booting as with traditional CCFL backlighting, and therefore no need for air-conditioning
• No high voltage, which means that there is no need for corresponding safety features
• No high frequencies and, therefore, no extra cost for EMC-protection
